John McNicholas
McNicholas Photography was started after I decided to take a photography class in high school. At 16, I purchased my first camera, a Nikon D3200. Growing up in Malibu and Pacific Palisades, I was constantly surrounded by the natural beauty of pacific ocean and the towering bluffs, mountains, and coves right above them. With an appreciation for the natural geography around me and a love for nature, I began adding to my portfolio every chance I could get. I have been very lucky to travel all over the world at such a young age and take my camera with me to document my experiences. The photos featured on this website show are a reflection of the beauty I see in nature and the things that make me happiest. I’m currently a student at the University of San Diego and will continue to shoot and update the portfolio available for purchase. I’m excited to share what I see as my best work with you.
